It all began in 2010 with one couple and a dream

The word Sumalee (pronounced soo-ma-lee) in Thai means “flower” and also is our mother’s name…the only person who has inspird both of us for our entire lives. Her philosophy about running a good restaurant has become ours, which is “we are serving our customers only good food and drink with genuine warm service”. And that’s exactly what Sumalee will bring to you all from the very first step you walk into the restaurant

This is such a great Thai place in Bentleigh, it is seriously 5 star restaurant quality for such an incredibly reasonable price. Food is presented immaculately and the taste is just amazing. Very good value indeed!
